Thanks!

The goal was to make 60 hats this way (check!), all using the same basic pattern (the one included in the looms kit), each hat having at least three colours (check!), to use up my Patons Melody stash (yeah, not even close...)

I wanted to experiment with different colour changing techniques for the looms to learn something new, to keep myself from getting bored, and to use up even the smallest bits of scraps.

I had a good time doing it, so... yay!

This was my OWL project for the Harry Potter game over on Ravelry, and my Order of the Phoenix project is the matching scarves (only 42 to go....).  There are no colour limits on the scarves though, so they will work up waaaay faster.

My NEWT project next term will be some fantastic (I hope!) granny square continuous join-as-you-go blankets with patterns.  So, watch for those coming soon! lol

It happened again. So many great new projects in so little time. I like them all. Sorry for those I forgot, everything was great, there were just too many yo comment on each.

Qnm, the dog pillow/bed looks so comfortable, I could sleep on it. If I were smaller, that is.

Fantasticmio, the hats are beautiful with their patterns and colors. And there are so many!

UTM, very creative use of boxes and cute envelopes.

Alwaysinmyroom, beautiful coasters with great colors.

Dreadlocklove, I'd love to know more about the story you're creating. The tiny characters are adorable. What cute tiny bunny ears!

How'd  I get so many pages behind?
You all are crafting machines! Today I made bacon jam, finished a raygun shadowbox I began months ago, and finished decorating a hand mirror I also began last year. I am organizing craft supplies! Progress is being made.
Now I just need to take the time to get comfortable with my new camera. ^_^

All those hats are so colorful Mio - I think I need to learn how to do colorwork for sure!

quaggy - Love the colors and patterns of those pillows. Especially the little fish!

Ok, photodump time for me. I joined the OWS again to have fun with random projects I found inspiring from people's lists, and I'm having a lot of fun doing it.

Here's a chunky charm bracelet, that's inspired by a bracelet made up of a lot of gumball toys. I always have a bunch of wacky fun whimsies on hand so I couldn't resist putting my own together.

Outside of the swap, I decided to make one of my best friends a friendship bracelet. It's been ages since I've made one but it is much like riding a bicycle haha. Except originally I wanted to make a chevron pattern and I forgot you have to have mirror image pieces of thread to get the colors to match up sooooo slanted pattern it is!

Altered Santa paintbrush - made for the OWS - I've wanted to dabble in making an altered paintbrush so this is a start. I have a feeling there will be more of these haha.

TM patches - for the OWS - I made more but this is my favorite. It's so delicate looking

Handcarved stamps mounted on corks - So small!

Ok so I'm not sure why I was suddenly inspired to start thinking about Christmas cards, but I have the beginnings of my christmas card for 2014 I guess haha. Note: I flipped my image backwards so you can actually read it - the stamp is carved in reverse, no worries  Wink

And a Spoolman! I'm not sure if I can actually post it here since I've entered it in this month's craft challenge but here's a link to the entry.
