I do love knitting patterns - Albus Dumbledore

Hi everyone - hope everyone's having a great Christmas  Grin

I'm wondering if the wonderful Craftster's here who use embroidery machines can help me out.

Just recently I have been thinking about getting an embroidery machine (my first one ever) I won't be doing a huge amount of embroidery so don't want to spend lots of money - just personal use but love Urban Threads and really want to be able to do some of the awesome designs available there.

My local craft stare has a Brother NV 950 at half price and I was wondering if anyone uses one of these machines and how they find it. would it allow me to do want I want - i was wondering about the 100mm x100mm stitching area?? It has a USB and a Card slot for more Brother designs.

Any help or advice appreciated,

Kylie  Grin

From what I can find the reviews of this machine are very good. Seems to be easy to learn and user friendly.

Not sure what your question is concerning the 100x100m stitching area is? But that is the largest you can do on the machine, but it comes with resizing software.

All the designs at Urban Threads allow you to choose a size that will suit your needs or machine abilities.

All in all it looks like a good choice. Hope this helps. Smiley

I bought one of these recently (couldn't resist the 40% off) and I'm pretty much in love with it. I use it for embroidery only as I have my own separate, much loved, sewing machine.  I have found no faults/issues with it for the few months I've had it... I do (not so) secretly wish it had a bigger embroidery area, but for now, it does pretty much everything I need/want it to and it seems like it'll be a good little workhorse until I decide to upgrade.
