Hi! (btw this site looks awesome, I have spent like 2 days going through it, and Im not even done) Anyways.. I want to make lip balm but I don't have any empty containers? Does anyone know like if they sell them at stores, or do I just need to use up all my other stuff.  Huh

well, you can buy them in websites and Michaels sells some for like 4 jars and 4 tubes for $6  which  is ripping you off

but....  go to Walmart and in the craft section there are paint storage containers.  Little plastic cups that are 8 in a row, 5 rows for $2.99

here are some of my balms that my mom keeps at work.  They are cheap, which is good because I am still playing with my ingrediants,  and they are about .20 oz.  which is what lip balm jars are anyway.   TRY ebay too.  people sell there.

i put my logo on a 3/4"  round label, fits good.

oh, and melt the sides of the plastic where they connected,  its easy,  using a lighter or whatnot.

Hope this was helpful,

-kelly

I got my tins from WSP, and tubes and plastic pots from Joann's clearance blowout a couple weeks ago.

i actually don't know if they exists every craftsterer's country, but since i'm in complete lack of lip balm containers, i've just thought about using the rounded containers containing the boxes in the Kinder eggs (but i haven't tried it yet).

try using any old or used make-up containers..for example: eye shadow, foundation compacts. i recieved as a gift for x-mas a make-up kit and wasn't too fond of the colors so i emptied the contents , washed out the container and there it was. they work great for recipes you're just trying out.   Smiley

I try to avoid the 'screw up' type containers..cause I always screw them up..lol

I can never remember to screw the little thing to the bottom before I fill them...what a waste!
