I've been super excited for Christmas this year, because it's my son's first real Christmas. So while, normally I find Christmas a chore- I've gone a bit crazy with it this year. I started by updating my old Christmas wreath which was pretty sad looking with a bunch of faded white poinsettia flowers on it.  I think it's much more festive now.

After seeing something similar on Pinterest- I knew I had to do this for my Nativity set (which was my grandmother's)

I also made stockings out of old thrifted sweaters for my little family.

I also made a few felt ornaments that I don't have to worry about my son getting his hand's on. But I didn't take any pictures of them. But I did have a lot of fun making my Christmas a little more festive this year.

Very pretty. I think you did wonderful with everything. I recently started recycling sweaters, and I LOVE IT! You did a great job with your stockings. I have the rest of one to use...I think I will borrow your idea there. And I love your wreath. Very nice how you organized things, and I love those feather things. And your nativity is very lovely, too. Nice addition with the star painting. Happy Holidays. You have truly made yours more festive  Grin

I know the holidays took on a whole new meaning for me once I had my own little family.  I really love the star you made for the nativity set!  It sets it off perfectly.
