Because Papier-Mache solves everything...

I made a bunch of what I was deciding was "vintage-style" ornaments this year and am still working on some so I thought I'd show people! I made a few pin-in-styrofoam-ball style ornaments:

Done by wrapping ribbon around the ball first...

Then I made these Pom-pom trees... some ready-made cones and some paper mache... and pom poms.

Another pin-in-styrofoam-ball style ornament

A pipe cleaner santa

and a felt gingerbread house! Cheesy

Thanks for looking!

Nice ornaments.  That santa is fun.

Scholars and artists...differ most importantly in the way their knowledge is come by.  Scholars get theirs with conscientious thoroughness along projected lines of logic; poets...stick to nothing deliberately, but let what will stick to them like burrs where they walk in the fields.

These are so fun!  Hooray for handmade holiday decorations!  My favorite is the pop-pop trees.  Would have never thought of doing that, now I'll have to try it myself!

Love that first one! It looks very pretty. You did a great job making the ribbon lie flat!

I love those ribbon wrapped balls, so jewel like.  Got to admit Santie is pretty cute too.

There's not much in this world that can't be improved by either chocolate, bacon or glitter.

All of these are so nicely done and each has their own charm!  My favorites are the pompom trees, which I'll be pinning. Smiley
