I wasn't sure which section to post this in...so misc it is!

My boyfriend has been having really bad nightmares, so I decided to craft him up a wee dreamcatcher for part of his christmas gift.

I had never made one before, and I faced a few problems but I think I worked out most of the kinks. One tricky thing I couldn't get quite right was hanging the feathers/beads/etc so they would sit exactly the way I wanted them too. It isn't perfect, far from it and I am a bit nervous about giving it to him (first christmas together! first handmade gift!!!) but I think he will really appreciate it. Well, I hope it does.

I only snapped one awful photo on my phone, if anyone wants to see a clearing picture I can try find my camera and take another!

The main colours are black, dark red and dark purple. There is a little bit of white and brown thrown in with the feathers and beads and the silver charms - a heart shaped key and padlock.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed looking, I enjoyed making it.

I make these {there is a tiny one on my pinterest crafted by me file}. I think you did a wonderful job. The feathers never seem to hang right. That is the fault of the feather, not yours. The curve of them always seems to turn them backsided. Very pretty. I love the colors you chose, and I think he will love it fine.

Lavender scent on his pillow might help his sleep, too. Of course he may not like fragrance...so if I were you I would ask first  Wink

NEW REQUEST: Need quilting fabric with ONLY purple, grey, green. Solids or Prints in any combination/shades, but NO OTHER COLORS ALLOWED. HELP! They are hard to find.

What a thoughtful gift for your boyfriend. I'm certain that he'll appreciate it. I hope it helps with his bad dreams. You did a beautiful job. The lacing in the middle is stitched perfectly.
