I've made about a million of these (minus the arm band) to use as a change purse. I make them to match purses that I give/sell to people..

I loved this idea the first time I saw it because I attend many shows and know what it's like to have to fuss with pockets or tiny bags that get in the way and require watching.

My questions are: just how well does this hold up? If you were at a concert, it seems like it would be fairly simple for someone to rip it off your arm if they wanted. Also, have you had any problems with coins rolling out the sides? I suppose the second inquiry could be remedied by using a longer strip of velcro, but I'm very curious about the first.

I was worried about theft too. You always hear about those senior citizens going on day trips to Las Vegas getting ripped off.  It's quite common for their fanny packs to just get cut off without them noticing.  Maybe a wrist version would be a little more secure? Or maybe a coin holder version for the arcade?

I love your color scheme!

The fabric is actually from some old sheets from a thrift store.  It's a great way to get very low-cost fabric to play around with!
