I didn't think I'd ever get to crocheting a baktus scarf but here we go, with not only one but TWO, and created in its appropriate season!  Woo!  =)

Thanks to Ravelry user Jude45 (http://www.ravelry.com/people/jude45) for some pattern inspiration.

They both turned out nicely!  I love the natural look...they should both be nice and warm for winter!

I really like this, it inspires me to take crocheting back up. Tis the season for it anyways.

Thanks all!  Another handful of them have been made since, two of which were offered to my kids' teachers are Christmas gifts (the one in the bottom photo to my son's).  I decided to keep the first one and it is ultra warm.  A scarf is never something I've bothered to wear but I'm learning how practical they are.  Especially in this -40C weather we've been running into lately...

It's been bitter cold in most of Canada in the last few days, I bet lots of people here would love one of these scarves.  I know I would.

Where in Canada are you located?  I'm in Northern Ontario!  I woke up to the cold water not wanting to come out of our basement washroom faucet this morning.  We had to quickly heat the pipes so they wouldn't burst.
