So, I was at the hospital with my boyfriend and while he was in surgery I decided to whip up a hat and scarf for my sister using some yarn she had lying around the hat. I used the swirls cap pattern by Sophia Kessinger.

I liked the flower but she decided wanted a bow instead..

Overall, I'm really happy with the way it turned out and the pattern was really easy to follow. The most difficult was crocheting around the canvas in the brim.

Personal swap? I'm looking for a table runner. I will crochet everything under the sun for one!

Very nice hats, and I like both the flower and the bow. Smiley

I like the bow better, it lets the hat shine through if you know what I mean.
