I can't believe it's been a year since the last 4x6 Art Swap!  I'd really loved those, and have been itching for another one.  LeapFeetFirst has organized the past few rounds, but if there's interest, and she doesn't want to organize, I'd be willing to organize another round.  I'm thinking the first of the year....any one else itching to make 4x6 art?

I've been itching for some more art Wink My walls are sadly bare, And after the holiday craziness, it would be nice to relax with a plain ol' canvas and my multitude of supplies  Cheesy

I was looking through a couple of art swap galleries the other day, they looked incredible.  I would definitely like to participate in an art swap or two in the upcoming year.

So 4 x 6 is actually pretty small, isn't it?  Not even twice the size of an ATC.  It looks like most of the pieces I saw in one of the galleries were done on paper.  Does anyone know if the craft stores sell 4 x 6 canvases?

I would definitely be interested in organizing this swap again- it is one of my favorites! I can probably start something after the first of the year, maybe January 6th or 7th.

vincentvanbuck- a lot of the pieces are done on paper, but I've seen wood, canvas, cardboard, wool, etc. The awesome things about this swap are that you are only constrained by size and you don't have to create something specifically for a partner- so you can create what ever you want in what ever medium you want.

I bought 4x6 flat canvases, and I know they have the regular wood stretched ones, as well... I think I just got my at JoAnn, or Coldsnow.

I loved the last round, and I really do need to do more art!  I also have some 4x6 canvases conveniently lying around...  Cheesy

Woohoo!  I am definitely down for this swap then.

Those dates work well for me.  I'll be away from the computer around the start of the New Year, but if sign-ups aren't until the 6th or 7th (or at least are still open), I won't miss it.
