I like knitting, but I've never knit anything besides scarves.  And an occasional afghan with size 50 needles.  I want to make a sweater but I want it to be quick and easy.  I have such a weird body shape that sometimes things don't fit right so I don't want to spend a whole lot of time on it just in case.

It is incredibly hard to find a pattern for a plus sized sweater with bulky yarn!  I realize it's because a bulky sweater isn't flattering on a bulky body but I don't want to spend a bunch of time on a worsted weight sweater, especially one that may or may not fit.

A while back I had a knitting magazine that had a sweater pattern with raglan sleeves made out of Lion Brand Wool-Ease thick and quick.  Something like that would be perfect!  I have searched Ravelry already and have seen the hoodies made of Homespun on Lion Brand's website, but Ravelry didn't have anything in bulky weight for plus size and I'm not too crazy about knitting with Homespun because it likes to separate.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

There's a couple pattern generators for top down raglans. Put in your gauge and finished measurement desired and it'll spit out a pattern for you.
