Swap name: HANDSPUN YARN/HANDPAINTED FIBER SWAP!
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: NatashaFatale
Sign-up date range: July 10 - July 24, 2005
Date to send item by: Friday, August 12, 2005

Limited to a certain number of people? No

Non-U.S. participants allowed? Yes

All ages allowed? Or 18+? All ages

Organizer is aware of current list of "suspended traders" list and will not allow those members to participate: I'm all over it

Organizer meets the 4 conditions for swapping and will make sure that every participant meets these conditions: You betcha

Details of swap:
This is a handspun yarn and handpainted fiber swap intended for spinners only! No store-bought or second-hand swapping allowed; you will custom spin/paint your yarn/fiber specially for your partners. Rather than setting a limit for yardage, weight, or cost, it will be up to you, the swapper, to work out the details with your partners after you have been paired up based on what you each can afford and what areas you specialize in.

There is a full two-week sign up period (since there are few of us, we want to give everyone a chance to find this thread) and three weeks to make your goodies (to make sure we can all order our supplies and get the job done in a comfortable amount of time). I will ask you to rate your skill level in the questionnaire; please be honest. I promise you won't get shafted just because you admit to being a beginner. All skill levels are encouraged to join, and you are allowed to swap with multiple people.

If you want to participate, send this information via private message to the organizer, NatashaFatale:

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:
Name of swap: Handspun yarn swap
Craftster username:
Email address:
Your real name:
Mailing address:
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside of the US?
Rate your skill level (beginner, intermediate, advanced):
Interested in sending yarn, fiber, or both?:
Interested in receiving yarn, fiber, or both?:
Swappers are allowed to trade yarns with more than one person. How many swap partners do you want?:

IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO ORGANIZER VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE.

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.
