i decided that i wanted a black lace shawl to go with the dress is made to go to  a party with my best friend . I got all of the items done in the last month. im a bit burnt but know that i will enjoy the results

i knitted the feather duster pattern Susan Lawrence
http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/feather-duster

in some scrumptious  Rowan Kidsilk Haze Eclipse it was black and sparkly. just what all girls need.

i only have one picture. i kinda messed up on the pattern....i didn't bind off properly , apparently there are different ways of binding off in knitting. big lesson to learn. however i saved it by blocking it out and using the bottom edge as the top and the top edge as the bottom. woot for creative ways of fixing mess ups .
here is the picture that i posted on ravelry

I love it! And great idea for the boo-boo fix. I am sure no one will know the difference. Unless they have the pattern and knit. I like the "bat cape" style. And a very wonderful choice for the yarn. I'm sure it could match many outfits. Make the next one in purple and send it to me? Just kidding. But I would love one of these. I am just a beginning knitter myself, and this looks beyond my scope of accomplishment. But I love all the projects that you yarnies share. This is certainly a great one. Have fun at your party!

That is beautiful!  And it sounds like it would feel wonderful against the skin, too.
