So to go with the dress i made to wear to my best friends christmas party . i decided i wanted to be cool and made a sexy awesome mini top hat.........for a first try it turned out awesome

me wearing the hat to test it out

it sitting on my sewing machine

just a note use the right glue. its never awesome when you work so hard only to have fabric tack glue not be clear and show all over .....and apparently glue gun glue works better and stays more invisible .

i will post a final picture of me wearing it tonight . but i plan to make more . we decided to attach it with hair sectioning clips they are totally the best. It was either that or magnets .

Another awesome project. Commented on your shawl/wrap thread, too. You will be the belle of the ball! For sure. My favorite glue is Loctite Multi-surface gel. I should buy stock in that company for as often as I use it  Grin It is easier for me. I still have troubles with the glue gun stuff. But a good idea that I did learn, to get rid of the stringie threads that happen...hair dryer. It heats them and blows them away! Who would have thought? And thick rubber gloves save finger burns. Still learning to use the stuff. Shocked

NEW REQUEST: Need quilting fabric with ONLY purple, grey, green. Solids or Prints in any combination/shades, but NO OTHER COLORS ALLOWED. HELP! They are hard to find.

try attaching to a narrow plastic head band. I did that for my Halloween costume top hat and it is very comfortable and stays on very well.  I love the hat and the feather, so cute.
