So last time my hubby and I went to visit his family for Christmas, we made a batch of some very basic lye soap (using the kit found here: http://www.countrybubbles.com/soapmakingdvd.htm, love them!) Turns out it is the best soap Vinnie's uncle has used in quite some time. Every Christmas since he has looked at my mother-in-law with big hopeful eyes for more soap! Well luckily I finally got around to making more this year, and this time I made a double batch and got fancy with 'em! Nothing too fancy, since it's only my second time and all. But I did add oatmeal and lavender, and wrapped 'em up real nice =)

Thanks for lookin'! I had fun wrapping them all like little presents =) Much harder than I thought it'd be to wrap them in fabric, but totally worth it!
