ActsofCraftiness-are you done yet?

I finished the calendar and will have the middle house done by the end of the weekend. The last house is my favorite. I hope to have it done by the end of the year.

Also, I thought metallic thread was a pain to embroider with, but with cross stitch it is the thread of the devil.

@kittykill - I'm not done, and the third house has been slow-going for me. We went to visit my sister-in-law in Portland, so I did absolutely no stitching for five days!

I'm about 2/3 of the way done with the last house, and I still need to do the scene below it. I finally decided to definitely leave the calendar on the bottom off of mine. It'll fit nicely in an 11x14 frame.

I absolutely hate the metallic embroidery flosses and I avoid using them! I'm using pearlescent pink (DMC S818) instead of the sparkle/metallic, and I like the way it looks.

Thanks! Smiley I finished the 3rd house this morning (just the house, not the stuff above). I'm hoping I can get the rest of it done tonight. I'll share a picture when it's done.

I just finished!  Grin I might add a small snowflake or two above the left house. That area seems a little naked to me.

I have a frame, but I don't have any mounting board, so I have to wait to frame it.
