I am doing the Frosted Pumpkin Gingerbread Lane stitch along. Who else is doing it? Where are you at right now?

Here is one of the houses. I am working on the calendar right now.

I'm really leaning toward leaving the calendar at the bottom off. Here is my progress so far.

Cute! I should finish the calendar tonight and start on the middle house this weekend.

I finished the second house, some snowflakes, and Merry Christmas. I'm getting started in the third house tonight. I'm still undecided about the numbers at the bottom. I really don't like the light green for the numbers; it's too light. If I stitch the numbers, I think I might use the darker aquamarine color.

Oh my goodness! Adorable! It looks so great! You are way ahead of me. I am about to finish the calendar. I had to finish up other swap stuff but now I'm back to stitching.

I continue to be amazed at the patience it must require to work all those tiny precise stitches, and all the careful counting involved to get them in the right spots to form the picture!  Shocked

@kittykill - Are you going to do the Frosted Pumpkin Stichery's 2014 Sampler? They just put it up for sale today, and it's a fairytale theme. I think it will be awesome to put in my soon-to-be daughter's room (due in March). Maybe we could have another Stitch-Along.

ActsofCraftiness-are you done yet?

I finished the calendar and will have the middle house done by the end of the weekend. The last house is my favorite. I hope to have it done by the end of the year.

Also, I thought metallic thread was a pain to embroider with, but with cross stitch it is the thread of the devil.

@kittykill - I'm not done, and the third house has been slow-going for me. We went to visit my sister-in-law in Portland, so I did absolutely no stitching for five days!

I'm about 2/3 of the way done with the last house, and I still need to do the scene below it. I finally decided to definitely leave the calendar on the bottom off of mine. It'll fit nicely in an 11x14 frame.

I absolutely hate the metallic embroidery flosses and I avoid using them! I'm using pearlescent pink (DMC S818) instead of the sparkle/metallic, and I like the way it looks.

Thanks! Smiley I finished the 3rd house this morning (just the house, not the stuff above). I'm hoping I can get the rest of it done tonight. I'll share a picture when it's done.

I just finished!  Grin I might add a small snowflake or two above the left house. That area seems a little naked to me.

I have a frame, but I don't have any mounting board, so I have to wait to frame it.

I still have one house left to go. Christmas kicked my butt. I hardly had any time to stitch.

@kittykill - How is your Gingerbread Lane coming along?

I have one frame left on my FPS 2013 Woodland Sampler, and I'll all ready to go on the 2014 Once Upon a Time Sampler. It starts on the 10th!

It is slow but only because I joined a couple of swaps and I'm embroidering for them. My goal is to get it done by the end of the month.

Let me know how the fairy tale stitch along is. I may join that one too.

kittykill - I know how that is. I'm participating in a couple of swaps too. I've seen you in the OWS100 swap. Smiley I have 4 claims I need to work on, but I'm trying to finish a never-ending crocheted baby blanket that's a gift for a woman my husband works with. She had her baby early, so I need to get it done ASAP.

The first Once Upon a Time email goes out on Friday. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do a little stitching over the weekend. Maybe I can rotate through my swap claims and my stitching, doing just a little at a time.  Wink
