I wish you had more pictures to post. This looks totally awesome. And a lot of work went into it, I am sure.
Went to stalking you. And some other wood carvers here, too.
You crazy crafters keep my head in a tail spin! I can't decide where I want to go next.
But a wonderful project all the same. I really like it!

Very nice.  I've just started doing some relief carving.  I carve mostly in the round.  I applaud you.

Thank you all.  I am planning a new carving project for the New Year and will take photos as I go along.  Funnily enough the one above that I showed you started off as a completely different carving and I had almost finished it when I decided that i didn't like it.  I asked a friend to plane all the carving off and I started again.  Other carvers were horrified that I had spent so long carving it just to plane it off and start again.
