Been getting into face painting lately.  I'm thinking about going professional next summer, but I'm kind of a six month hobby person so we'll see if I want to stick with it next year.  As for now I'm having fun with it! I have been buying paints and supplies for a professional kit if I want to go on, but I'll always have it to do for volunteer work and for fun anyway.

Now forgive my line work on the designs, these are all my first tries but the best looking ones I'm willing to share lol.  I'm still in the practicing and getting quick stage.

Big Flowers

Scorpion

Wore this one to opening night of Catching Fire ~this one was tricky.  I had to do the mockingjay in reverse because of the mirror reflection

And because I always have to do something Harry Potter.  There was a challenge to make these little puff balls into something.

Flower fairy

My little knight

My favorite of the batch!  A fantasy tiger.  Took me about 20 minutes.  If I go pro I'm hoping to half that time.

Thanks for looking!  Hopefully I can add a bunch more designs soon!

Woww. Wowwsy Wow. You have it going on.
And feel proud, because I am a professional clown, and have done face painting for years. Since 1991.
I don't have permission to share those photos, so I can't.
And I know how hard it is to paint on a moving canvas  Grin
I did the target on the top of the bald Grandpa's head one time. The most fun I have ever had at a party!
I told him, "Don't go outside...a bird might get the wrong idea!" Cheesy
You have done well. I hope you keep this up. I am a 6-month-er, too. I get easily bored and want to try something new. But you have some talent. Perhaps when you switch, take your skills onto paper? Just a thought.

I like Kit-Kat, unless I'm with 4 or more people.

So happy to see your face painting here! I was hoping you'd post them. Charge all of your friends for face painting at their kids' parties and make a bunch of money, because you are a Pro.

Those are fantastic.  And did you say that you did the Catching Fire on yourself?  That is insane talent!

Scholars and artists...differ most importantly in the way their knowledge is come by.  Scholars get theirs with conscientious thoroughness along projected lines of logic; poets...stick to nothing deliberately, but let what will stick to them like burrs where they walk in the fields.

Thanks!  Yep, I did them all.  The mockingjay pin was tricky too!  I had to do it backwards because of the mirror reflection.

Yup. I get $75 dollars for a party which also includes balloon animals, and jokes. For 1 1/2 hours. And keeping the kids busy while Mom or Dad are busy with the bigger friends. I also volunteer for things, too. Like library openings, and that type of thing. But the smiles are worth it all the same. And it gets my name out there. And have made additional money for my "freebies".

There is good money to be had for making people smile. And feel good about themself. Especially for the itsy bitsy ones. I volunteer for nursing homes, too. They love hearing the songs, and seeing my costume. Even if they choose not to be painted. That work I do for free. I love people. And I love teaching old people how to dance again.  Grin
Music is a wonderful art. They won't let me start a new board here for it. Darn. But smiling is good for your heart. And dancing is good for the brain. I hope all members here add those inside their soul.

These are amazing. I can barely get an even coat of green on my face for halloween, you obviously have a gift for this.
