Sometimes the wrapping paper we get is so pretty it is a shame to throw it away. Or if the present is from someone special we may want to save it. This got me thinking...

A while back I made some paper ornaments with tutorial from some zentangles I had made, and wanted to use that idea for this challenge.

Here I have taken wrapping paper and made a paper lantern/ornament. This could be put on a tree, made into a mobile, add many used for a mantle or whatever your imagination can come up with.



Here is the paper used before cutting.


I added pages from and old legal book to have some contrast.
