Ooh, ooh, Sir, Siir, SIR, I got a parcel! Can I show them please. <jumps up and down with excitement>

I pulled out 2 beautifully wrapped gifts and a card from my parcel (which I was too excited to wait til I got home to open, so went to a coffee shop straight away to unwrap). The card I looked at straight away and laughed out loud to the annoyance of the other drinkers. Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

And then I unwrapped my goodies.

First of all I got a Stamp album! Not just any stamp album, but Stanley's own stamp album Smiley, and I can spot that it comes from just the point where he has stopped collecting pins and just started on the stamps.

Such a handy thing, especially as it has just become the season for trying to assemble supplies for this project
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=429484.msg5129311#msg5129311

And then I got the beautiful Klatchian coffee corset (which I've been wearing round my wrist all day, hoping for the opportunity for a drink on the run Roll Eyes), this photo should show its reverse.

And I have to say: I'm off on my travels this long weekend (pre-Christmas mad rush), but I'm making time tomorrow morning to go to my Fat Sally's for breakfast. Grin Grin

Thank you again Noodle-Bug Kiss, you got me perfectly. A wonderful, wonderful swap package.

Wonderful start to the gallery!

The stamp album is wonderful, I love that Stanley didn't totally abandon his pins!

When I worked in a craft store I stocked a lot and whenever I did the notions aisle I would get the giggles when I would get to the pins box. Unfortunately no one I worked with understood it.

Y'all are gonna be so jealous of my awesome parcel from antidigger

I told her Nanny Ogg was my favourite character, since being cast as Nanny in a school production of masquerade is how I first got into discworld... so she wrote to nanny for me, and look what nanny sent...

It's her midwifery bag, stuffed with supplies..

there's a bottle of 'whiskey' (I couldn't seem to get a non-blurry photo, I'll try again later) which smells suspiciously like bubble bath Wink some matches and a candle, some dried frog pills in an awesome tin, a needle & thread in an old jolly sailor tabacco tin, soap, lots of letters to nanny from grateful patients, some pages from a biology book, and a mouse from Greebo, and loads of towelling cloths backed onto cute fabric prints

aaaaaaand (can you believe there's more!) a souvenir shot glass from two-shirts, and  a handmade card

What an amazing swap parcel! Thanks so much antidigger

The midwifery bag is wonderful! antidigger what a great project idea. Is the bag itself crafted? If so super awesome if not what an amazing fine. I can easily picture Nanny Ogg lugging her bag of midwifery necessities around, noodle-bug you will have to get into character and give us an action shot  Cheesy  What a fun way to be introduced to Discworld.

Found, but altered. I'll put a post up about it when I've got a bit of time.

I'm very excited to say that I have received from both of my partners, and they are both awesome! Unfortunately my pictures are not that awesome, I get home after all the sun is gone.

Yesterday from dontneedaclassroom I got a plaque/message board, two adorable figures and some origami flowers. The flowers were going to be a hat pin (via Vimes) but she didn't think it would be structurally sound.

Front of plaque, with a quote from Death. I love the lettering and the little crystal touch on the stand.

And the coolest part. The back is made of corkboard and has crisscross ribbons to also hold things.

Death and Susan figures. She left the back blank so I can make them into either magnets or tacks, I'm torn about what to make them into. The little origami flowers are all in a little box.

Thank you dontneedaclassroom. I love everything.

Today from myloveasdeep, I received some wonderful wall art. A portrait of Death, a Hogswatch sign, some pins and a the card from her is in the style of Deaths Hogswatch card.

Deaths portrait. I opened my package and exclaimed "oh look at Death! He's adorable!" my MIL gave me a look and told me "you girls are odd ones".

Hogswatch sign. I don't have any holiday decorations up yet so this is putting my house in a festive spirit.

Pins and card. The pins read "but as frontiers go, it's pretty penultimate", "Vetinari for tyrant", "Property of: Unseen University Athletics", ""where the hell is Muntab?""exactly"".

Thank you myloveasdeep! Everything is definitely my style, can't wait to get the art on the walls Smiley

I feel so spoiled. I'm so glad I went with two partners Smiley Thank you both again!!

So glad you like it! I learned to draw skulls because of this, doubtless a skill that will serve me well in future for reasons. Smiley

I have received from our fearless leader!

First up, a Seamstress Guild t-shirt: Often licked, never beaten! That's the spinach right there. A book necklace with a tiny metal-stamped OOK! (loves), and my FAVORITE: A shrine to Anoia, Goddess of Things That Get Stuck in Drawers!

It has a tiny metal spoon in the shrine itself, and a wee drawer with a padlock and key in it, for the opening of said stuck drawers! I LOVES IT. The details! They slay me!

Thank you so much, lady4feet! You rock!

I'm so glad you like everything myloveasdeep. I have tried shrine making in the past and have always ended up scrapping my project so I was so happy that the Anoia shrine came out more or less how I pictured in my head.
