I made this fairy for a swap and I fell in love with her, it was kind of hard to see her go, but I am very proud of how she came out.

I purchased a nice fake rose and cut off the stem and glued the leaves to the bottom so it is just a simple flower. Then I made the fairies body out of clay, her wings were from a butterfly barrette that I murdered for it's beautiful wings. I found doll hair to make wigs and made her pretty hair and glued a flower button to make her barrette. Then I tied a pretty gold ribbon around it to make it sort of a play on an over-sized ornament.

I have many pictures of her:

Thanks for looking Smiley

She is adorable with her doll hair and butterfly wings!  And I like the way she is propped up on the flower.  Very nicely done.   Smiley

Great reuse of the butterfly clip wings! They look just perfect for this fairy Smiley.
