gozer- that shirt is amazing and I never thought of clothes being a commodity that would not be available.  I love that line of thinking.

Ludi- that brain is amazing as is all your work!

BriannaB03- that baby blanket is so sweet!

LovelyMiss- those chocolate pie cups seriously made me drool!  I literally laughed out loud on that chips as well!  Great job!

And here are more projects finished.  I had such a crafty day yesterday.  My mojo is on fire!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Battle/Challenge:  December UFO
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points: 10 for metallic
Project Name: Whoooo loves you?
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: I am in a secret sister program and my secret sister this round loves owls and specifically 4 owls (they have a significant meaning to her).  I bought this stuff back in December when I got her information and finally got around to making it this weekend.  2 of the owls(the bigger ones) and the leaf above the heart cutout are metallic scrapbook stickers and one of the other owls has glittered leaves.  Lots of shininess!  This will be sent out before our reveal on March 15.
Battle/Challenge:  January UFO
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points: 10 for orange
Project Name: Bouquet of Flowers
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: When we started the school year (back in August), the teachers in our classroom bought duct tape to decorate the white board and in the pack of duct tape they bought, there were sheets of tape.  Because I am the crafty one in the room, they gave the sheets to me and said, make up pretty pens.  I had no idea how to do it and have been putting it off since then but this weekend with my crafty mojo on fire, I whipped up 7 of them.  They were actually pretty simple once I got the hang of them.  I ran out of pens that they gave me (an opened and half used package LOL) so that is why I only did 7.  4 out of 7 have orange petals.  I had fun mixing the colors in the petals to match the pattern.  I think I will get more pens and make more.
Battle/Challenge:  February Red Alert- Olympics
Team: Randomizer
Bonus Points:
Project Name: Liberty note holder
Project Page Link (if available):
Brief Description: My country of choice would be USA and what is a better symbol of USA than the Statue of Liberty? My best friend's daughter's name is Liberty and her favorite color is red.  She loves to store stuff and with 3 brothers, she really needs her privacy so I made this stuff holder for her out of two potholders and a Hello Kitty Statue of Liberty bottlecap I had in my stash for her birthday.
I am having so much fun with these Nerd Games.  It has really inspired me to craft more, not only for swaps but for friends and family.  Plus I have been cleaning out my craft room which will help me start to destash instead of running to the store to buy supplies only to realize that I already had them at home.  Baby steps Smiley
Love the shirt, gozer!
It just struck me that we haven't had a lot of clothing this round. There have been bunches of other great crafty venues represented, though!  Shocked
That owl project is really pretty, crazyda! Is it a picture frame?
Battle/Challenge:  February Flash Mob
Team: Textbook
Bonus Points: None
Project Name: Valentine's Day Flexagon Card
Project Page Link (if available): N/A
Brief Description: I made this Flexagon card inspired by a contest at our local art store. I certainly had my honey in mind though and will pass it on to him. Wink This card is assembled in a way that it lies flat, but has four separate images. You have to open the card from the center and essentially turn it inside out to see the next image. Do this four times to find our way back to the start.
