And, I was half hoping for a snow day tomorrow (icy conditions in the morning), but I think the most we''ll have is a delay. There go my plans to get some crafting done during the day. When I get home, I have to work on some screen-printed shirts that are a wee bit overdue...

Research proposal

Research project name: Picnic Basket Play Set
Team: Wordy
Brief Description: I want to make a picnic set for my daughter. I plan to make a picnic basket, a picnic blanket and some play food to go along with it.
Week 1: Research ideas and materials for making the picnic basket. Make the picnic basket.
Week 2: Find a pattern for the blanket, start making the blanket.
Week 3: Finish making the blanket.
Week 4: Find patterns and ideas for the planned play food. Start making the play food.
Week 5: Finish the play food.

Playfood I plan to make (list will no doubt grow as I look more)
Sandwich with cheese slice, ham slice, tomato slice
Bag of chips (bag open with a Velcro piece to close it and some chips separately)
Oreo cookies
Chicken drumstick
Baby carrots
Cucumber slices
Ketchup and mustard and relish bottles
Salt and pepper shakers
Juice boxes have a detatchable straw somehow
Cupcake
Orange slices
Strawberries or raspberries (maybe both)

Brief Description: Ive grown up with Harry Potter so I had to support him! I made these Golden Snitches to put all over my tree!

Brief Description: My Christmas tree needed a few more ornaments for the season. I used chipboard and my silhouette to cut out the shapes of some Hitchhikers Guide related items and then painted them. The hardest part was making sure everything was a single piece.

I actually started crocheting again mainly for making cute little things like this. My mom taught me chain and single stitch when I was 12 and I never did much except for a few coasters. Then I saw the crocheted dolls people were making and picked it up again last year.
