Here's my ornament from deadsweaters!  I love the colors and the bird is so fun! My kitty was very interested in the feathers when I opened the package last night.

Close-up of the bird

Thanks so much!  It'll make a great addition to my tree! (That I still have to get!!)

I received mine too! My cat was all over the feathers so it went up on the tree right away.

Also I just found out that my camera batteries are dead, so I may have to wait until this weekend to get some pics up!

Beautiful ornament, Deadsweaters. I love the color. So nice to see rich colors in Steampunk. And the nest is a very creative twist.

Just received the cutest windup angel. She's corkin' fantastic. I love the lacy metal wings, the wind up key, her little head and the base is beautiful. She will have a place of honor after the holidays on my new (if I ever get it painted) knick knack shelf. Thank you!

LOL. I gave the box with the tissue paper to the cats and they had a grand time tearing it up and spreading it about. Then I got to crawl around on the multi-patterned carpet trying to find a tiny little necklace. Those darned cats. But I was successful and she was so grateful to be fully accessorized.

Here she is in all her splendor.

I received a dapper, little top hat ornament from CMarion3 and a little hat box too. My  photos don't do it justice. The hat has such great detail, tiny playing cards, feathers, and gears. The hat box is covered in Steampunky stripes and has a cord handle that is just like the life-size ones. These both look great on my Steampunk tree. CMarion3 even included an ornament hanger.
Thanks so much; I just love them both.

I'm glad you love it! I couldn't resist making a little hat box for it as well, needs a home when it isn't hanging around. Enjoy!

Another Steampunk goodie in the mail from whenindoubtsew! I am so lucky. It was our first wintery day with snow and freezing rain and I had to drive 1 1/2 hours to get to my job....which remarkably finished early! Then gifts in the mail.

She is a  dressform all decked out in high steampunk fashion. The detail is perfect! I also received some chocolate Santas, an angel cookie cutter (not in the pic) and a glittery Christmas ball. Thank you, thank you.

Full pic of the outfit. I want one for me!

And the goodies.

Sorry it took me so long to post some pictures! LOVING the gallery guys!

First I received from deadsweaters she made me this awesome airship bird <3 I'm totally going to have to find a place to just hang him year round! He is so cute! Thank you so much!

Then I received from SaraBlais this lovely slate ornament! She did a great job getting the shape of an ornament out of slate I always screw up when trying to shape slate and it breaks on me! She even threw in some cute hair pins that are just my style! Cheesy Love it thank you!

Then I received from Alchamy513 yesterday. Look at the tiny perfect stitches and shininess! Love it!! Thank you so much Cheesy

I love the dressmaker form ornament. My ornament was also a dressmaker form, but they are so different! That coat is too perfect--tiny sleeves, ruffle, and lacing in the front.
Beautiful colors on the bird nest balloon ornament again. The chains are beautifully done.
I never thought to make something from slate. It is so creative and a very nice assemblage.
Those crocheted gears must look great on the trees. Love the three metallic threads.
I can't wait for my ornaments to arrive.

I received these pretty gears from Alchamy513.  I love the glittering threads!

And I received this neat airship and moon/star ornament from WhimsicallyObsessed.  It's like multiple ornaments in one!

Thanks Alchamy513 and WhimsicallyObsessed!

Edited to Add: Whoops! Not sure why the pictures are sideways and how to fix them on here!

Wow - I want ALL the steampunk ornaments  Grin

The airships with birds and nest are gorgeous (love the colours and details) and I absolutely love your dressform ornament Crafts!! It's perfect that we had the same theme but did different things  Cheesy Cmarion3's dapper top hat is so perfect - love the hatbox too. Alchamy - your crocheted gears are awesome - the thread is super and sparkly and Sarah Blais your slate ornament is so unique and wonderful (I especially like the colour of slate you chose) And I bow down to your sculpting skills WhimsicallyObsessed - how divine is the airship/celestial combo?!?  Shocked

And I have received my first steam-punk ornament from Harvey. It's an upcycled pistol in steampunk colours with tiny gears and a green light at the back. Can't wait to start setting up my tree now and put it on!! Thanks Harvey - I love it  Cheesy

I don't mean to double post, but a few more things:

I updated the first post, please let me know if anything needs to be changed.

Please, please send me a PM when you receive, as well as letting your partner know! It makes updating that first post a lot easier...

Oh, and when you post pics let us know who the ornament is from!

Whoops that's me posting without the name of the sender.....so much excitement, so few brain cells. whenindoubtsew sent the little dressform ornament with high Steampunk fashion!

And from Harvey a Steampunked pistol. This is going on my tree and will be a new accessory for my Halloween costume, no lady should be with out her protection. I simply love it and feel well accessorized now!

I love the finish and the added detail. How do you get that great distressed finish?

I'm glad you like it cmarion3. The finish is just a coat of black paint over the copper and then wiped off before it dries. I used varnish over the top.

Very interesting ornament, hgddm. I love it.

I received a beautiful tree topper for my table-top Steampunk tree from Whenindoubtsew. I just love it any it fits the tree perfectly. She also sent a second ornament, a star cookie cutter and some chocolate Santa candies. My photos don't do it justice, believe me.

Here's a side view so you can see its depth.

Be it known, Cmarion3 is a spoiler. And, that suits me just fine.
After sending her lovely top hat ornament, she surprised me by sending a beautiful cuff. I love the combination of colors, textures, and patterns--perfect placement of the silver teeth against the very Steampunk stripe. The stripes are painted in an almost-not-there silver that keeps me checking to see if it is another layer of the silver organza fabric used in the ruffle. I count seven types of laces, ribbon, and fabric, not including the buttons and gears. Beautiful work, Cmarion3, thank you.

Thank you. I made these for a craft fair and they did not sell. Wrong market! So, I wanted them to have a home where they would be appreciated and crafting steampunk crazies was the best place!

Enjoy.

There is a tutorial for making these, they really are pretty easy:

I know right - we are so lucky  Cheesy

My beautiful cuff arrived a couple of days ago but the main part hadn't arrived until yesterday. Both are gorgeous and absolutely stunning - cmarion3 you have crazy steampunk skills!! I totally love both of them. Crafts - you described the cuffs so well I am not even going to try  Cheesy The cute little hatbox is a beautifully crafted item all in it's own right! And apologies for the quality of my pics - they are from my phone and crappy  Undecided

And I also got the most wondrous dressform ornament from Craftsunderground. I always love swapping with crafts - her items are amazing!!

And last but not least a sneaky extra from Harvey (gorgeous) and my steampunk ornaments on a hanging candle stand I have repurposed for the occasion - I am still working on my proper 'tree'!!

I received my last ornament from Harvey. A sweet little dirigible medallion edged in copper. Looks yummy on our tree. The finish has just enough gloss to gleam with the tree lights. Thank you!

And a vanity pic of the top hat ornaments. I made these after a crafting failure on my first idea. So I fell back on something I knew I could do. I made one for myself, but ruined it with a glue gun mishap. I'm lucky anyone got an ornament this year! The gremlins were at work.

Here are the rest of my ornaments: Shocked

From cmarion3 I got a beautiful topper and a very pretty hat box and a steampunk cuff (which I have already worn and been complimented on).

From Craftsunderground I got a gorgeous dress form.

This has been a great swap and all of my partners have sent me fantastic ornaments which I am looking forward to bringing out every year. Thank you so much. Kiss Grin

Oops you switched the givers. I sent the top hat and the cuff, Craftsunderground the little dressform cork angel. I don't really mind, as I like getting credit for things I have not made Cheesy Cheesy but I guess we should be accurate. I am glad you liked all of them, whether from me or not! Shocked Shocked

My biggest boo-boo was crafting mug rugs targeted perfectly to my partners....then mixing them up when I sent them! They loved them anyway.  Grin Grin

I'm glad you like the cuff. I was disappointed that they did not sell at our craft fair, but now they are appreciated!
