When I first saw this 'box of sunshine' idea, I thought it would make for a fun swap! That was over a year ago but now that I'm feeling the gray of winter getting me down, I figured it was a good time to throw the suggestion out there.

The main idea would be to send a bright, happy, sunshine inspired package to a crafty friend. We could coordinate it a number of ways - maybe fill a flat rate box and have some rules around size and number of crafted items? Or we could say something like one medium item, one small and one special treat? Or easy-peasy, one medium sunshiney crafted goodie! Other ideas are welcome!

Of course our friends in the Southern Hemisphere, who are going into summer now, would be more than welcome to participate Cheesy!!

Timing would probably be January - after holiday madness.

Also, if this has been suggested or done before, let me know! Not trying to steal any thunder Smiley.

This idea was suggested by blupaisan and several other people liked the idea but it never got off the ground.  I'm sure if this swap did start up again, many people would be interested.

I like the photo you used for the post...my BFF made me a box like that a few years ago...filled with all ORANGE items, as that is my fav color and flavor.

Hmmmm - I may be up for this - even though I really hate the colours yellow/orange - but something bright and warm to cheer up the winter blahs after the holidays would be a fun thing to do.

Oh! Thanks for letting me know Ladybugs! I'll reach out to her to see if she wants to pick this up again.

Onyxnox, maybe we could include a question like "what is your favorite summer color?" so that people that don't like yellow don't feel excluded Smiley. Also, I don't think everything has to be a certain color - it could be things like summer coasters or margarita glasses or maybe a picnic blanket or a beach bag.

Okay, now I want to go to the beach and have margaritas Cheesy!!
