Lacy Sleeves Pattern...
Hm, these are really very easy to make! Once I explain no one will be impressed anymore
They should fit most arms, I think.
Needles: one pair 5 1/2mm
Yarn: any mohair/wool mix (whatever combination for whatever pattern you want). I used Filatura di Crosa 'Lungo Light' and Heirloom 'Aristocrat'.
Cast on 35 stitches loosely in your first colour. (pink in my case).
row 1: k, k, yo, k, k, k, k3tog, k, k, k, yo
row 2: knit.
Repeat these two rows until they're long enough. Cast off loosely. Pin the piece out on your ironing board and steam it so the lace 'opens up'. The points at the bottom end are a product of the lace pattern, I just accentuated them by stretching the piece while steaming it. Then sew the two long sides together and weave in all ends.
Thread some elastic lace through the lace holes at the top end and sew together. This look pretty and holds them on! Make another sleeve... and that's it.
