My dear friend and running partner is getting ready to have a baby girl.  We both share a huge love of Harry Potter so I decided to make her a Harry Potter bookshelf baby blanket to welcome the new baby.  The quilt was made with patterns from fandominstitches.com (best fandom patterns ever).  Her baby shower is next weekend and I hope she loves it as much as I do.  Parts of the binding turned out a little wonky, but I'm still happy with it

Oh wow!  I just love it, it looks incredible.  The fabrics for all the different books are wonderful.  I like how it clearly pays tribute to the fandom, without hitting you over the top of the head.  Wink

Oh this is both amazing and adorable at the same time!
Might have to borrow the idea and make one for my little bookworm...
