It's a long story.

I think I love metal stamping and, best of all, it's cheap! Or, at least, it can be.

By taking keywords from a favorite quote of my Doctor Who swap partner's ("Im going to need a SWAT team ready to mobilize, street-level maps covering all of Florida, a pot of coffee, twelve Jammy Dodgers, and a fez" -the Doctor) 70 cents, some split rings and 3 repurposed necklaces...

...this happened! It's only my 2nd metal stamping project and I think it turned out pretty well. I was really happy when a family member requested something similar for herself! It made me feel all warm inside like a freshly-pounded coin.  Cheesy

She wanted one based on a character from the same show (Strax) but not using any 1 quote. And so...

Okay, crummy picture. I swear that one isn't yellow-y green in real life! The words are Holmes, boy, Strax, ha and grenade.

I am so liking this craft. I can't wait to do and learn more! Any suggestions?
