Everyone's so talented in here!

Anyway, I feel bad. I looked at the December Detention challenge and actually wondered if I could use part of what I'm doing for Transfiguration could also fit the December Detention since the part I'm referring to is circular.  Grin

Very beautiful items to share. I am told that cats can't see color...but I think they can. Mine love red. Stinky on the scientist and their idea of the "cones" in the cat eyes. Wonderful projects, and what wonderful way to share with new kitties in new homes  Grin

Hi there Smiley
You can use one project to count towards two prompts, if you want. But there are a couple of things to remember:
- you can only submit for each prompt once
- each project can only earn house points once
so, if you do submit for detention and a class, you get 15 house points, and you won't be able to submit for either prompt again. That's not a problem, of course, as long as it's ok with you Smiley

Fellow Gryffs, I promise I'm not flaking on you - I have been in a very, very busy crafting frenzy the last six weeks in particular and should be able to do a MASSIVE project dump hopefully on Sunday!

But I have very much enjoyed looking and oohing and aahing over everyone's projects (even Slytherins'  Wink)

Just popping in for a quick score - at least I hope so.  Are the matches 2 weeks long?

Challenge: Catch the Snitch for Hufflepuff
House: Huffelpuff
Project Name: Q-Cup 'Puff
Project Description: Another Quidditch-themed 'puff for my youngest's chair cushion.  I arranged the ones I have the other day and it looks like I'm going to need about 36.  Shocked   Good thing there will be more matches coming up! From what I heard, the final lasts until the end of term!

Fly-by posting!

Warning:  This is a super-cheesy but totally genuine post.  Read at your own risk.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Study of Ancient Runes
SPEW: n/a
House:  Gryffindor!
Project Name: Wunjo = Alexis and Greyson
Project Page Link (if available):  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=431724.0#axzz2u0FpL2hU
Brief Description: Wunjo is for hope and harmony and joy.  My sister's first marriage ended badly but she got two amazing kids out of the deal.  Now, years and years later, she remarried and she and her new husband decided to produce one last kiddo.  She was an overtired and stressed single mom for so long but she has now found her new joy and Greyson cemented their whole family unit and brought hope, harmony, and joy.  Moreover, my sister and I had some major issues during the in-between but now Greyson (and the joy he brings) has helped us smooth over the rough spots since my nieces and nephews are my pride and joy.  This painting is for Lexie's birthday because even a 14 yr old picky/impossible-to-craft-for kid can only love a reminder of such Wunjo and I made it in pure happiness.

That's not cheesy, it's beautiful

quickie project post....

Class: MS
House: Ravenclaw
Project:
Muggle cooking is hard! This heat-pad is designed to protect my work surfaces from hot pans or plates, and so to protect me from land-lady retribution that would surely occur if the kitchen surfaces were damaged Wink
It's a couple of layers of felt, with a linen top and some decorative cotton hexies, and cotton bias binding edging - all hand sewn, and washable
