I am ready to join the HPC!  I have been stalking for a few semesters just trying to understand how everything works.  I am still a bit confused but I'm going to go for it!  I belong to Hufflepuff house and I am ready to turn in a few projects  Smiley

Class/Challenge/House Pride: December Detention
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Bead Bracelets
Brief Description:  I made a couple of circular bracelets for grandma gifts this year.  I took apart a photo bracelet and used just one of the "frames" and some beads on stretchy string to make them.  I printed some sayings to go in the frame.  I was going to put my daughters picture but it looked like a weird watch with her face on it so I decided to change it.

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Apparition
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Rice heating pads
Brief Description: I was inspired by the cold north pole to make these rice-filled bags you can heat up to keep you warm.  I also added some lavender to the rice so they smell good too.  I stamped the heating directions onto a fabric tag so you will always remember how to heat it up

Class/Challenge/House Pride: Herbology
House: Hufflepuff
Project Name: Christmas bunting
Brief Description:  I made this red and green bunting that says "Merry Christmas"  for my mom, sending it to her tomorrow.  I picked out red and green fabrics from my stash, sewed the triangles, then hand stitched the letters on (because the fusing stuff didin't work on felt) and crocheted a tree for the middle triangle (hard to see in the pictures--its dark green on the dark red plaid)  I strung the triangles together with cute Santa printed bias tape.

GO Hufflepuffs!!!

Hi Felicity, welcome to Hogwarts! If you have any questions or anything you're not sure about feel free to ask  Grin
Great projects, I especially love the idea of stamping directions on the heat pads - I'll DEFINITELY be stealing that!

Welcome to Hufflepuff felicitybaby! I like your first projects - adding the directions right on the heating pads is a great idea!
