Yeah, count me in on the Daryl fan club.  Though actually I don't find him to be all that good looking, I do *so* love his character.

I would bet that you could make a small mint from Daryl stuff...Grin

In reality, I bet his character smells stinky... Grin

why?  is he a zombie?
I didn't make the original stencil so it wouldn't be right to sell it, but yeah I'd love to send him out in swaps.

lol no utm...it is just that in that world, baths and showers are hard to come by...he always looks a bit sweaty and dirty...which is, I am sure, appealing in the imagination, but probably not for real... Wink

I am happy that you love swapping your wonderful stencil work! Wink

I received a wonderful swap box from Averia today. It had several bath fizzies in 2 different scents AND  2 blue hexie hotpads.
Thanks so much, Averia!

I received a lovely and generous package from Momof2! on Monday.  Because I can't take or post photos, I usually post a long description of the items sent.  However, my girls are ALWAYS with me, our apartment is tiny, and their bedroom is right outside where we keep the computer, so there is no way for me to get a good look at the items and describe them without spoiling the surprise for her!

So, a brief description, and I hope Momof2! can post photos soon:

-a beautiful ruffle scarf in shades of purple (If it were longer, I would have considered taking it for myself!)

-a very interesting style scarf that is made up of loops!  I'd be interested to know how you made it.

-a duct tape wallet in hot pink and black pattern

-an ipod case in the same tape as the wallet

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Now a post on the so-called "progress" I'm (was) making on Eiseldora's claim for the crocheted, star shaped blanket for her 3 yo niece.

I brought the blanket in to show my assistant at work.  She too, crochets, and is great at it.  She laid the blanket out on one of our tables, smoothed it out, and said:  "One arm of the star is much longer than the other-look."

*(Picture Patrick starfish from Spongebob Squarepants standing with arms and legs outspread, but with his head bent to the side...that's how the blanket kinda looked.  Tongue*)

I ripped it all out b/c of course I wouldn't send something that was made incorrectly.  BUT I WAS ALMOST FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Errgghhh.....at least I think I know where I went wrong and now I know to look out for it so it doesn't happen again.

I claimed LadybugsAndBumblebees for a scarf and duct tape ipod cozy for her daughter. She is unable to post pictures so I thought I would share. I really hope her daughter likes everything. I made a purple ruffle scarf, and a pink/darker pink/gray finger chained scarf. I also had so much fun making the duct tape Ipod cozy that I made one for my daughter, then made a wallet for Barbara's daughter also.
