You have just taken me back nearly thirty years.  I sewed these in all colours for my kids when they were small.  I even learned to line the the whole thing  including the pockets with nice warm brushed cotton.  I made the legs extra long and just rolled them up a bit .  I can start all over again making them for my grandaughter now.
