I should have finished this two years ago, when a friend of mine gave birth to a very adorable little boy. Oh well. He might appreciate it more, now, anyway. After I moved with it, I decided it was time to finally just put strings and leaves on the thing and be done. The idea with the caterpillars and butterflies have to be put on hold until I get my crafting things out of storage. Maybe it will become an add-on mobilé.

The apples are stuffed fabric balls I painted with fabric paint.

The stems are made out of q-tips drenched in brown watercolour, the leaves just plain old cardboard with watercolour.
