Love the matching pencil case idea! I put a piece of velcro in mine when I made it with the intention of making a matching make up bag, I still haven't done it!

To everyone that liked the fabric, I finally went back to the shop today and they didn't have it. They sell seconds or damaged fabric mostly so it's not that reliable, sorry!

To msalowishus, mine doesn't stand up that well either, I think i'll do something different with the interfacing next time. You can get a lot of stuff in it though!

Thanks for helping each other out with the tutorial, sorry if it's a bit confusing!

I'm making mine, too! It's the first time for me following a sewing tute and this with my cheap portable machine...  Sad I wanted to put an outer pocket and I even forgot to make a hem on the visible top! What a disaster! I still have to finish the lining and find something to substitute the interfacing since in my city (I live in Spain) they don't seem to have anything similar here

What I don't trust are the handles... it seems they will fall off as soon as I put a pair of trousers inside... we'll see!

As soon as it has some more shape I will post a pic. Thanks for the tutorial! It was awesome and greatly explained  Kiss

it's finished!! I couldn't find any interfacing here, so the bag collapses if empty Undecided
