I like your bag, Melly; it came out great!  Love the end pockets, and your kid is obviously thrilled with it!  I was surprised at the end size; it came out larger than I had thought it would.

This is such a great bag!  Everyone's looks so good.  I really want to make one for my boys (and probably myself too).

Thanks for the wonderful tut!  I can't work from patterns for some reason, so I love it when people spell things out for me in tut form!  I made the bag and thought it was super easy!  Here is a pic of the one I made a and a link to  others.

I made one!!

The only things I changed/added were adding piping around the seams and adding some plastic canvas to the bottom to help it stand up a bit better.

Thanks for a great tutorial!

I'll add my finished bag on here as well.
Thanks for the tutorial! It is the biggest thing I have sewn so far, and I had some problems getting both sides even, because my frame loop ended up being too long. But, I think I made it work Smiley

And my son, who chose the fabric and gets to keep the bag, is thrilled Smiley

I love this bag!  Can I ask how old your son is?  I'd love to make one for mine, but I'm not sure if it will be too big.
