def. going to try this. got a wedding to go to in sept. at the beach and don't need a hugh suitcase (more room for junk)  just need something for the basics and this is perfect.  great bag and awesome job.

I made another one, this one is WAY better! I changed the dimensions this time because I thought it was too tall, and would stand up better this way.  I also added pockets to the ends, and piping.

I made a second one - it took me a shamefully long time to complete.  Not as professional looking as many of these, but I didn't use interfacing - I like to fold my bags for storage.  I DID use two linings - one is an old shower curtain, to help with water resistance.  Also put a layer of plastic canvas in the bottom so it stands nicely.  This one is for a friend.

My girlfriend made this bag and I fell in love with it. I've booked a trip to the UK(travelling from Canada) and will take a sidetrip to London and I've decided that this is the perfect bag to take with me so I don't have to take my entire suitcase with me into London. I'm so excited to make it!!
