Alexampersandra,

i saw your little plastic canvas item and thought i would post another pic for you to see it.
it is actually called a kiss holder because most people put a hershey kiss inside so when the person receiving it squeezes its cheeks, it would give you a kiss
pics are from this website   www.craftelf.com

I have one of these, and they are super cute! And really easy to make, too. Great way to use up your scraps of yarn, and the plastic canvas is cheap, and easy to stitch on. You should post this on the newbie thread, too. A great project for beginners. I taught my daughter to do them when she was about 8. We made them for teacher gifts, and such.

OMG! That Tradis tree skirt is AWESOME!! I am so jealous! Smiley

The paper crane earrings are really cute, the spools gingerbread men too!

I love the "Seeking sole mates" plaque, I have it on my pinterest too!

The stamped spoon bookmark is fantastic, that will be pinned for sure!

The reusable "paper" towel are such a great idea! I love the fabric that was used.

The blue and green fingerless gloves are beautiful! They look so cozy!

Those woodland placemats are really fun too!

What a great gallery!!

Day 5:
I am a super tea fiend - especially loose leaf tea. CabinArts is amazing and got me this delicious (I've already tried it!) chai tea that she pre bagged for me!! If that wasn't amazing, she made me this beautiful wool mug cozy and coaster with a cute felt book mark from my Pinterest! I love these and will be using them SO much! Thank you!!

Yay!! Glad you are liking everything!!  I tried to stay really close to your Pinterest and wish list Smiley

The tea is all organic herbs and tea that I put together.  The ginger inside I'm not 100% sure if it is organic, but I think so.  It took quite a few stops around town to find all the ingredients to make it, but I think was well worth it!

Yes, CA, that tea is delicious!!

Lol and day 2 is actually a sewing machine pin cushion! I should have added a note, haha, and sorry! But I guess it could totally work as an eye pillow too  Grin. Yeah, I mean, I meant to do that!

Everything looks great.  I am opening my packages, but have power issue right now after an ice storm this weekend.  We are running a generator part of the time right now, and have iffy phone, cable, and internet services.  My camera needs charging too - and I have to take pics for the insurance company.  No significant damage to our house, but some huge tree limbs down, including a huge widowmaker half on our driveway and over DH's workshop - and part of the tree may still come down.  We're wondering if they will cover the clean up, if there is damage to the roof, or if it would be better if we split the cost with the neighbour (the tree is on the property line, but they have a large limb down across their back porch).

For day 9, I received an FANTASTIC package of paper ephemera.  I could not figure out what it could possibly be, because it came packaged in 4 parts, interesting flat bits, and cylinders.  It was a hand carved bird stamp, a huge pile of washi tape, and ephemera including an interesting old book, photos, calender bits, card fronts, and magazines - I am going to have fun going through them all.

For day 10 - I think I squealed - a pair of painted Harry Potter shoes - especially awesome as I contemplated rereading the series yesterday, by candlelight.  So awesome - I can't wait for Spring so I can wear these!

Thank you rockmygypsysoul - I can't believe I only have a couple of more packages to open!
