We had our big fund raiser craft fair this weekend and all of us in the Stitchery booth (knitting, crocheting and sewing), got a big kick out of watching the reactions to my art dolls. They were picked up, hugged, introduced to their friends, pried out of young children's hands (not suitable for young children due to buttons and glued on eyes). Grown women clutched them to their breasts, slouching teens picked them up and looked longingly at them. Most put them back, they wanted them, but didn't really know what to do with them.

I only had 2 monsters, 6 dolls and 7 animals and all but two sold! They went to good homes. The monsters went first! I love donating this way, I get to craft, others get to enjoy and the money goes to a good cause.

So the recap.

I'm head over heels for those monsters. And yay for charity crafting! Sounds like a great and productive time. Smiley

I'm glad that these awesome dolls went to good homes and the money went to a good cause. They all have so much life and personality in their faces! Great job!
