My friend is a big fan of Game of Thrones (as in recently re-reading the entire series, kind of fan), so it wasn't hard to figure out a good motif to use for his extremely belated birthday card.

This was the first time I did this kind of fiddly cutting with this type of paper (Color-aid), which is why it's a little more ragged (especially around the internal cuts) than I'd like.  Does anyone have any tips for paper-cutting projects with this kind of paper?

Have not used this type of paper. But have a suggestion for papercutting in general...very sharp exacto blade. And the white {internal} paper edges, can always be colored with a marker. Even if you outline them in black. As in, when you don't have the proper shade to match paper color. I have also seen somewhere that someone wetted the thicker kind paper damp to soften it, and then cut, put it between paper towels under a heavy book to dry flat. Perhaps that might work for this style paper. I am not familiar with it. Sorry.

I like the card all the same. Very interesting design, and being a wolf...I think he looks good a bit on the shaggy side  Grin

Of course i recognized the image from the thumbnail, but I didn't see the birthday hat until I loaded the project page -- what a clever detail to add!  Very nice done.   Smiley
