These are two of the cork coasters I made around this time last year.  They were part of a set of six, but these two are all I can find now.  Huh

I free-handed the designs (inspired partly by mehndi and indian block printing stamps) using a wood burning tool.  There was a learning curve, and a few burnt fingers, but overall I was surprised how easy it was and mostly pleased with how they came out.

(Incidentally, this is my first post, so if I have messed it up somehow I hope you will understand!)

These are incredibly detailed! I never would have guessed they were cork. Smiley

Yeah. You messed up. Your coaster pictures are upside down.  Shocked Just kidding. I am the class clown here!
I really like these. I would love to see a tutorial on how you did these, just in case you are wishing to make more and give us a step-by-step? Sounds like 4 of them might have went home in the wrong pockets!  Grin Another joke.

NEW REQUEST: Need quilting fabric with ONLY purple, grey, green. Solids or Prints in any combination/shades, but NO OTHER COLORS ALLOWED. HELP! They are hard to find.

Great first post, these are lovely.  If I saw them, they might just fall into my pockets if I were visiting you.
