Friends of ours just had their first baby and, as is my tradition for first babies, I made her a quilt.  I've had the top pieced for a long time just waiting for a baby to finish it for and now that Anastasia has arrived, I finally got it all together.  Which is good since her shower is tomorrow.

I have to loosely use the term 'quilt' since this one has no batting in it.  I backed it with flannel and decided that was as thick as I wanted it to be.

This picture is actually a little muted but I couldn't get my camera to cooperate with me today.  I tried a vivid shot but that was too bright.  The red fabric in the bottom right corner has letters and numbers on it.

These are relatively new friends to us so I have no idea of their style.  I'm just hoping it's not too bright.
