So one night I'm getting ready for bed and I get a text from a number I don't know that just says, "Amanda?" (That's me). Turns out to be the girlfriend of a guy I went to high school with. We were friends on Facebook but I haven't been on there in forever, and she wanted a hat. She sent me a picture of what she wanted and I just had to dive in without thinking too much. She picked it up last night and says she loves it. I wish I felt the same, but maybe I just looked at it too long.

Anyway, here it is:

Wow, that is beautiful!  Most of the time we are our own harshest critics.  Trust me, you did a fabulous job. =)

It is a rare occasion when I am satisfied with something I've made haha Thank you so much!

What's not to like?  It's terrific.  I bet it's super warm on the ears too......and that's always a good thing.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this hat!  Your friend is really lucky to have you made her such and awesome hat.  Did you write the pattern down?  I would love to make one.

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

I think it looks great, and I'll bet it will be nice and warm too.
