Yes, I have a million things I should be doing, but when a friend posted a picture of the giant floating rubber duck art installation thing with the caption, I had to turn it into a cross-stitch hoop.

I scoured the internet and cobbled together a picture of a duck and a ship, and slapped some words on that puppy.  Er... ducky.  Five days later, I had a cute little hoop!  And it's mine!  I get to keep it!  Cheesy

I think I want to paint the hoop blue, to match the water.  But overall I'm pretty darn happy with it!

My husband tells me I need to change the R to a W!  I'm waffling on it...

Thanks, everyone, I'm glad people like it! It's a silly little thing but it just makes me smile.  And it was pretty easy to make!

What a cutie! If not blue, maybe orange? And really set off the duck.

Just have to add that I hate the color orange, but it could work grand in this project.
