ok--I know this was a private swap, and I will post pics there as well, but I had to show off the pages that our organizer, Smmarrt, made...they are just too nice to keep in one place!

Still crossing fingers that the mail has not lost the pages I made for playswithneedles, but if so, I will post pics and send new ones!

I love this scrappy bird!

So much texture on this one!

The backgrounds are upholstery samples!!  Clever!!  The textured one is a mix of paper, fabric, and buttons!!

Smmarrt--your pieces are always fun and full of creative uses of "stuff"...I am never throwing out a scrap of zipper or ribbon ever again!!! Grin

I love the whole package but I like the book idea. I have a lot of felt pieces of different colors .So I think I'll sew some(2 per) together and use as pages for a fabric journal and add to them pages I'll receive from swaps and any I make.
I've made a promise to not buy anything until I use-up what I have stashed away for crafting/sewing/crocheting/knitting. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes . I can't wait for Second Round

I'm so relieved that the pages that alwaysinmyroom made for me arrived and were not lost! I'm so happy with these and am guessing a lot of you will be pinning them (perhaps I should have photographed them separately?)!

I LOVE them, they are perfect for me! The simplicity, the meaning and symbolism and the texture - gorgeous! I feel so fortunate to have had you for a partner  Smiley

The note that alwaysinmyroom enclosed with the pages said that the gingko leaves were dyed with onion skin, hibiscus, tea and then embellished with fabric paint. So lovely and fun to touch!

Thank you so much, what a great swap and I'm looking forward to round 2!

I am fortunate to have a ginko tree (male)  on my property...the leaves are so lovely...I was trying to think of a way to use pressed leaves but they were sort of crumbling...but I am going to research how to preserve them for possible future pages!

I am so glad they made it...and look at all of those pesky strings...the postman did that...

Ladies and gentleWulf, we are done.

Thanks so much for an easy, breezy swap. Let's hope weather and location does not wreak havoc on Round 2.
