I did made this Christmas colours in red and green. It is called Granny Square Stocking. I do like this way better when you see mini granny square stocking fold in half. This one is not a Mini one. More bigger stocking and the better way.

It works on big one to fold in half.

Here is a picture:

Is there a way that you can line the stocking with fabric?
I really like your crochet stitching, but the holes???
Cut some fabric in a similar shape, stitch, smoosh inside, and hand stitch at the "neck" top edge of the stocking.

You can match it inside out, so the wonderful side shows through the holes. ie: make it backward!  Tongue

If you can get this far to doing your wonderful crochet. and wonderful stitching, {which is WAY farther than me!!!! Shocked} Than I believe you can accomplish the rest! I will help.

Just trace a pattern, go in a little bit, but not much because crochet stretches...cut some cotton that you like...
tuck it inside, and top it off at the "brim". Like a hat!

I think your stocking is very cute.  Wink
