I made this little basket out of nothing but plastic bags! It's about nine inches wide. I don't know if I'll use it for anything, but it's looking cute on an end table in our living room right now.

Now I'm itching to make a big storage basket. I still have TONS more bags...

Such a great recycle project! My guess is once you make one it is hard to stop. Smiley

It is so great - how did you make it? Is it crocheted? You could post it on the RRR-craftalong, too.

The basket is really pretty.  I like the tooth look in your stitches, it makes a nice detail.

This is so awesome!    Years ago [like back in the 70's], I remember someone who crocheted plastic bags into a throw rug and I thought that was such a cool idea as well.     : )

You did a great job with it - thanks so much for sharing!

I would LOVE this pattern, please!

Great job! And thanks for showing it to us.
How sturdy is it - that is, do the sides of the bowl collapse when the basket/bowl part is filled with something?

I agree 110% with grammyBon  - I too would like a pattern.

Cool project. Would have been really nice to know how to do this. Maybe add instructions? Thanks
