Here's the finished product of my embroidered, then stapled onto canvas project.

More info:
My in laws have been going to Maui in Oct most years for the past 4 years or so, so I decided to embroider this beach scene for them for Christmas. I wasn't sure if I wanted to make a MAQ or whatnot. I've decided to border it in fabric and then put it on canvas. I just got a serger, so I will serge the ends.

I found the image online. I used several different stitches and number of strands of threads. I really am proud of the embroidery.

It's not perfect, but it's different,and it's fun, and I hope they like it.
