I'm hosting a SodaStream party this weekend through House Party and am super excited. Drinks will be taken care of, but I need some help with food. What are your go-to party snacks?

So far this is what I'm doing:
--Cauliflower Pizza Bites, some with pepperoni and some just cheese (I have one friend that doesn't eat pork, and I forgot to buy the turkey pepperoni)
--a Cheese board, 3 kinds of cheese, some kind of nut (candied almonds or walnuts?) and grape or berries or something? And various crackers, maybe some baguette. Anybody have some cheese board tips?
--some kind of dessert, but haven't decided yet. I want it to be easy to make. I might buy something like truffles as well (going to Trader Joe's for the cheese)

Any other ideas? I feel like I should have a veggie or something too and maybe something snacky--chip/popcorn something.

Home made Chex party mix! I love it the microwave recipe is soooooper tasty and easy. Also, you can personalize it by only putting in the things you like. Smiley recipe is on the chex website.

Sounds like such a fun party, Mare! Smiley

I would add a veggie thing for those who want healthier snacks. Also a popcorn cause it is easy and everyone likes it. Then I think you're set!

So I have two definite go to party snacks that I always use.
Firstly the easy one, you know plain tortilla wraps Huh Cut into triangles and fry in some corn oil flavoured with paprika, watch carefully because they literally need 30 seconds on each side.
They go beautifully crunchy and dip wonderfully.

Second one is tricker but equally gorgeous. Buy some cooked beetroot (not the pickled stuff) blitz at least 4 balls in a blende with 2tsp olive oil, 1 tsp lime juice, 1 tsp lemon juice and a little chopped sweet chilli. Blend until pure.
Take a good crispy small baby lettuce and segment all the leaves off so you have little spoons.
Dish a spoon of pure into each "spoon"
At the time of your party, griddle pieces of haloumi and place one into each spoon on top of your beetroot. Yummmmmmmy

Our party standyby: take some tortilla wraps, cream cheese, salmon and lettuce. Lather on some cream chease to the tortilla, cover with lettuce, cover with salmon, roll it up tightly and cut into 1" pieces. Tasty!
