Last time we took our dog with us to visit my mother in law her dog kept trying to sleep on our dog's bed. Before we adopted our cocker spaniel, I made 2 beds for him our of fleece. So, i am made her dog a bed for christmas. Here are pictures of it in progress and finished. My puppy wanted to make it his third bed.

In progress:

Bigsby made it very difficult to do this bed
Finished, and being tested by my puppy:

These are the best beds, my dog loves them (obviously). All you need is stuffing and 1 yard each of 2 fleece fabrics.

Thanks for looking. Smiley

Nice and cozy looking, and the fleece makes it washable, too. Smiley

Love Cocker Spaniels! Mine was red and about 25 lbs. Yours is an interesting mix. Is he pure bred or just a special type of Cocker?

We adopted him from a cocker spaniel rescue so we aren't sure but the people from the rescue are pretty sure that he is purebred.

Seeing the dog's face sleeping on the bed, the bed must be very comfortable and not hard to make. I would make one if I knew somebody who had a dog!
